Good morning: I need coffee

Who doesn’t like coffee? Well, some people I guess don’t, but not me. I’m a coffee person. Without a good cup of java in the morning I feel toasted.

According to Wikipedia, coffee is the “brewed drink prepared from roasted coffee beans, which are the seeds of berries from the Coffea plant”. But that’s too scientific. There’s nothing like the smell of a freshly brewed coffee in the morning. And if you add a good, solid breakfast… oh, man… the day is up to a good start!

The origin of Coffea can be traced to tropical Africa (Ethiopia and Sudan) and Madagascar, the Comoros, Mauritius, and Réunion in the Indian Ocean. The plant was exported from Africa to countries all over the world… And that’s how, I guess, it finds it’s place in my cup. Every morning.

There. This is the story of my morning choice of drink. I’ll go and get myself another cup.
