How do I find the cartoons and illustrations I want? eToon.com's Advanced Search gives you a variety of options to help you define your search criteria. If you'd like to see a selection of cartoons or covers, you can browse by artist or topic. If you're looking for a particular cartoon, you can type in any word from the caption.

How does eToon.com work? eToon.com is designed to make it easy for you to find and buy cartoons and covers for a multitude of purposes - licensing, gifts, web sites, and more. The navigation bar at the top of the page is present throughout the site, and you can use it to jump to any section of the site you'd like to explore.
Use the site's Advanced Search to look for cartoons or illustrations and find those you'd like to license or buy. Once you've made your selections, simply place them in your Shopping Cart and proceed to the online checkout.

How much do the cartoons cost? Licensing fees are determined by how the cartoon will be used, how widely it will be distributed. To determine the cost of your order, please choose your use from the drop down menu; when you place the images in your Shopping Cart, the fees will be calculated automatically. You can always add to or remove images from your Shopping Cart before submitting your order. See Cartoon Rates for a list of standard rates for licensing.

Is it safe for my credit card to be stored? Your credit card information is transferred using industry-standard encryption technology, then stored behind a firewall in encrypted form to ensure that it remains safe from unauthorized access. Please feel free to read our Privacy Policy.

How can I track my orders? If you have made previous orders with eToon.com, a list of past orders will appear under the My Account section for you to view at any time. You may select to view the details of your order and choose to print and invoice for your records as well.

What if I can't find what I'm looking for on the site? If you don't find what you want online, you can contact eToon.com directly at 1-877-BUYTOON or (877) 289-8666 to speak with a specialist who will look through our archive. There's no fee for this service. If you wish a specialist to do more exhaustive research and prepare a selection of cartoons for you based on criteria you provide, a $50 fee for this service will be charged in advance. Searches typically produce 15-25 submissions, which meet your desired criteria. They are then faxed or mailed to you for consideration.

Can I get a reprint of a particular cartoon for display in my home or office? Absolutely! High quality framed art prints of any cartoon or image in eToon.com's database are available. These images are individually printed onto acid free archival paper, and are prepared by gallery experts. Please contact us for details.

Do you ship internationally? eToon.com does ship most of our products internationally. We do not ship any framed prints or desk diaries outside of the U.S. and Canada. Shipping of Custom Printed greeting cards is free for North America.

For licensed images, in what formats can you provide artwork? Cartoons for presentations, newsletters, print and web sites are available to download immediately after purchase. They are available as presentation-ready JPEGs, GIFs and TIFFs (depending on use).
Your licensed image order will be delivered in a "compressed" format. So even if you order more than one cartoon, you will only need to download one file. All you need to do is "extract" that file.
If you use a PC: You'll need WinZip or similar utility first. If you have a program like this, go ahead and use it to access the contents of your file. If you need to get a copy, go to www.winzip.com.
If you use a Mac: You'll need StuffIt or a similar utility. If you have a program like this go ahead and use it to access the contents of your file. If you need to get a copy, go to www.stuffit.com/expander/index.html. If you are still having problems, please contact us for help 1-877-BUYTOON.

Standard resolution for digital files is 300 dpi for print use, and 72 dpi for online use. All TIF files are downloadable as zipped files with PC LZW compression. If you need the cartoons in other format, we'll prepare a file to your specifications-Mac/PC, JPEG/TIFF/EPS/GIF, compressed, etc. Please note that it takes our production team one business day to process an order, as each file is prepared individually (at this time, files are not available for immediate download off our site). I am with a non-profit organizationand would like to use a cartoon at no charge. Is this possible? eToon.com's royalty arrangements with its artists require that it charge for each usage of a particular cartoon. We do offer non-profit organizations a 20% discount, but cannot accommodate requests for free cartoons. Cartoons may be viewed for free right here on our web site, or sent to friends via our selection of free E-cards.
